It was a lovely Wednesday noon. After a quick lunch at Suria KLCC Signature Food Court (we tend to call it ‘the 2nd floor food court’) with my team mates, Ming suggested that we go to the Cold Storage store to get some fresh fruits.

When we walked towards the fruits section, something caught my attention. It’s the Ringo Custo Cacao! It’s more of the word ‘Ringo’ than the ‘Cacao’ itself, because it reminds me of Ringo – Cheesie, also Malaysian Dreamgirl 11!

So, I thought I saw this. Note that it’s just my own imagination/creation.

Anyway, I have just finished watching Malaysian Dreamgirl Episode 13. I am pleased that Ringo has always safe in the elimination round- have never being one of bottom 3, up until now. I strongly believe that she will qualify for final round next week.

From the photo shoot pictures, personally, I found that Ringo has appeared to be ‘cool’ and gorgeous in the later series, compared the ‘cutie’ type in the beginning. However, her personality/character still remains in the ‘cheerful’ mode, without much changes.

With 2 more weeks left before the show ends, I would really love to see Ringo creating the ‘WOW’ effects, especially in the final. Because I don’t quite agree with some comments that Ringo is brought back into the Top 12 to boost the popularity of the show (since she has a large reader base).

Ringo, you can do it! Go, Go, Ringo!

Lately, I am slightly indulged into the reality show Malaysian Dreamgirl. It is the first online reality model search show in Malaysia. And I just have to admit that it is in fact the first reality show that I watch and follow. I know that it sounds I am so ‘out-dated’ kind of person, but that’s the truth.

I first come to know about this programme through the blog of the popular blogger, Kenny Sia. He is one of the judges in the audition. You can find out more about his interesting opinions or perceptions on the characteristics of the girl Malaysian are looking forward to be their Malaysian Dreamgirl during the audition in the first two episodes.

I was waiting eagerly for the videos to be released after I have read several blogs about the audition, including the one by Kenny Sia, Pinkpau and Timothy Tiah. I started off by checking the Top 12 before watching the video and I found Ringo was also one of finalists. However, when the Top 12 finalists were announced, I was a bit surprised when Ringo didn’t qualify. That puzzled me. There seemed to be a ‘gap’ in explaining why Ringo is in the finalist yet in the last part of 2nd episode she was voted out. The ‘oh…… now I understand why she is in…… and that’s great news!’ came only when the 3rd episode was released. I wasn’t sure if that’s tailored to be so or there was really a ‘gap’.

After following through the first three episodes, I was eyeing Adeline, Jean and Ringo as my favorites. As the show continues further, of course with Jean pulling out due to some personal reasons, I have kind of decided to take Ringo as my only favorite, mainly due to her personality (that I learnt through the videos of Malaysian Dreamgirl). In fact, neither I know Ringo personally, nor her blog. But I got to know her through Kenny Sia’s blog, once again.

I attended the Malaysian Dreamgirl fashion show in One Utama and spotted myself in the video (episode 5). So, just in case Ringo reads this, I was there to support you, but I can’t wave at you to say ‘I am here, Ringo’ when you said, ‘I don’t seem to be able to spot my friends… where are you my friends?…’, because you don’t know me.
